On the Friday, May 3rd, the football teams had a full day of football games in a double-elimination style tournament. Play was very good, and sportsmanship was even better, with all children (and adults!) having a great time. In the end, our final game took place between Frankfurt Taunus and Josef-Schwarz Schule, two tough teams that had been winning most of the morning. After the dust settled, Frankfurt Taunus stood victorious as tournament champions, with the whole primary school coming out to cheer on their schoolmates to a 8-3 victory over the visiting team.
Mr. Trueman and his organization team would like to thank all the wonderful parents and kids who helped to support our team and this tournament with all the food, assistance, and general support! He would also like to thank Coach Bender for his excellent work in securing our victory!
