GO RUN FOR FUN

On Friday, July 8th, for the second year, our Primary students joined two other schools to participate in Go Run For Fun, an event that promotes healthy and active living for children. The day started off with a whole-group warm up assisted by Dart the GRFF mascot and special guest Paralympic sprinter Felix Streng.
 
All classes ran the course together, Reception and 1st Grade for 800m, and 2nd – 4th Grade for 2000m. At the end of the course, each student received a medal of participation for showing the strength and endurance needed to complete the run. Combined with the energy and enthusiasm of our Phorms students, this made for a very memorable morning.
